Personalised Family Tree Hessian Framed Art Print

Our beautiful bespoke Personalised Hessian Art Print makes the perfect gift, thanks to the unique way it brings nature indoors. Designed by our in-house creative team, this unique Family Tree design has been created so that you can provide a someone with a special gift for any occasion. Ideal for both large and small families due to the fact that the design can be personalised with anything between two and six names. Each custom-made print is handcrafted using 8.9oz grade hessian, personalised with family details and then cut to A3 size. Our frames are made of wood and have either a white or black matt finish. Each frame comes complete with hanging clips on the back.

Personalisation:
Personalisation for your print is up to of 32 characters for each of the top lines (including spaces). When adding your names please separate them with a comma, this will be replaced with • during our design process. When adding the surname (below the family tree) the personalisation is up to 24 characters.

Made from:
Hessian is a natural fibre made from the jute plant. It has been manufactured in Pakistan and India for hundreds of years and has taken its modern name from its affiliation with German soldiers (from Hesse) who wore the material as part of their uniform. Originally jute was grown and manufactured into ropes and paper, however in the late 18th century representatives from the East India Company imported large quantities of jute fibre to the United Kingdom having seen its potential as material.

British weavers developed a process for turning the raw jute fibres into material and fed this development back to Pakistan and India – where hessian mills quickly developed. Hessian is woven to different thicknesses, with the heaviest being 18oz, and is now used to transport food items such as coffee beans, in gardening, as a backing to carpets and as a craft material.
